The Biogas Asia Pacific Forum is Asia’s premier networking forum for the biogas industry community and at the Biogas Asia Pacific Forum 2015 event, Green & Smart Sdn Bhd participated in two document exchange ceremonies to commemorate the beginning of its journey as a full-fledged independent power producer (IPP).
The first was an exchange between Green & Smart Sdn Bhd with FELDA Global Ventures Holdings Berhad for the contracted construction of a 2.0MW biogas power generation plant at the FELDA Kahang palm oil mill located in FELDA Kahang Timur, Kluang, Johor based on a build, operate and own agreement (BOOA).
The second was between FELCRA Berhad with Megagreen Energy Sdn Bhd (MGE) to construct biogas power generation plants at five FELCRA-owned palm oil mills with a total of 6.0MW under the feed-in-tariff (FIT) model. As a minor shareholder of MGE, Green & Smart Sdn Bhd witnessed the document exchange between both parties.
